The City of Whitehorse Australia Day Twilight Concert and Fireworks is a fantastic way to enjoy this special public holiday among family, friends and the community.
Our Australia Day Ambassador Jane Clifton, a talented Australian actor, singer and writer, will host an evening of reflection, celebration and spectacular entertainment.
The concert, to be held at the Whitehorse Centre Soundshell, 397 Whitehorse Road, Nunawading.
PROGRAM OF EVENTS
4:30pm-5:30pm: Civic Awards and Citizenship Ceremony in the Whitehorse Centre
6pm–7pm: Gee Whiz Kidz
7:30pm–8:10pm: The Hallmarks
8.15pm–8.30pm: Amanaska
8.35pm–9.45pm: Tania Doko
The final stages of the concert will crescendo with The Hallmarks backing guest artist Tania Doko, lead singer of Bachelor Girl,singing some of her hit songs and current solo album tracks. Andrew DeSilva, renowned singer from nineties boy band CDB and hit TV show Singing Bee, will join Tania on stage. The Australia Day Twilight Concert will reach its climax with a spectacular fireworks display, courtesy of Show FX, from 9.45pm.
